As the hearsay of Apple’s AR headset proliferated, the company has now seemingly signed up Meta’s Augmented Reality Communication head. As recently made headlines, Apple has reportedly employed Andrea Schubert, also otherwise famous for her contributions as Meta’s AR Communications and Public Relations lead.
A newsletter recently read that prior to the launch, Apple is beginning to row the boats. They have hired Andrea Schubert, who has contributed more than six years of her life to the American tech behemoth, to now work in close partnership to amplify augmented reality efforts.
She has previously enrolled to work for a VR-based firm, popularly known as Oculus by many. The nonpareil, profit-booking company was then taken control by Facebook, now Meta.
Recent headlines suggest inside intel about the upcoming hit in the market, claiming that the alleged making of the headset would encompass numerous highly sensitive 3D sensing modules to allow access of ingenious hand tracking, now coming handy with the recent trend of technology.
The upcoming hit has bound more in the book than what is anticipated. It is said that the headset will have structured light sensors that can allow the detection of objects in hands of the user, having a faint semblance to Face ID that uses facial expressions to produce Animoji.
It is rumoured that the headset will outstrip the market room by featuring 8K displays, permitting 4K in each eye. It is likely to exhibit two chips – one that is sharing resemblance to the computing level imagined in M1, while retaining lower-end handled input from sensors other than the primary.
