Thinking about the ascent in veganism and, all things considered, the utilization of veggie lover food items, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has acquainted another logo with “assistance customers effectively recognize and separate from non-vegetarian food varieties.”
The new green-shaded logo has a ‘V’ recorded (in a square box) with a little plant on top of it and vegetarian composed at the base. The plan is such, educated FSSAI, that it resounds with the current logo (that has a speck in a square) for veggie lover and non-vegan items.

“Prior, we had logos for vegan (green spot) and non-veggie lover food sources (earthy colored speck). We have a developing development towards veganism, thus, we have come out with a vegetarian logo,” FSSAI CEO Arun Singhal told ANI while dispatching the logo.
